Synopsis:

Oh, Joy! begins with a party that goes terribly

wrong and unveils itself as an exploration of the

human experience of relationships, infatuation, and

the beautiful tension between the mundane and

the extraordinary. Through the emotional pathways

we navigate in life, this work reflects on what it

means to love, to feel alone, to experience betrayal,

and to discover a place within a community

outside of ourselves.

 

At its heart, Oh, Joy tells a simple truth, that joy

exists alongside life’s complexities. There is light

within every circumstance, passion within our being,

and beauty that emerges from our deepest

experiences. It is from these depths that we shine

brightest, illuminating the character, wonderment,

and connection that make us profoundly human.
